This chapter, co-authored with Dr. Jamie McHale, is a review of the development of Family Systems Theory for the 2008 edition of the Handbook of Clinical Psychology (published by John Wiley & Sons). This chapter goes through a review of the development of this field and provides a case example, looking at a high conflict divorce transition from a Structural/Family Systems model.
